"The more lives I save, the more valuable my life is." Alessandro Frigiola, a pioneer in pediatric cardiac surgery, has dedicated his life to saving children around the world, reducing mortality from 70 percent to 4 percent. With more than 400 missions and 20,000 lives saved, he founded hospitals and trained young doctors, bringing hope where it was most needed.
