"DAYLIGHT NIGHT" TRIUMPHS IN CHICAGO AT BLOW-UP ARTHOUSE FILM FESTIVAL.
Production company Chromakia brings home a prestigious international award: the short film "La Notte Diurna," by Pasquale Mattia Gelorini (director, screenplay and editing) and with photography by Ilaria Vecchio, won the Founder's L'Eclisse Award for best arthouse short film at the Blow-up Arthouse Film Festival.
A success that starts with the vision of Chromakia
Produced entirely by Chromakia, the short film stands out for its bold visual research and experimental approach to storytelling, elements that convinced the festival jury. The awards ceremony took place on Jan. 12, 2025 at the Gene Siskel Film Center in Chicago, a landmark venue for global independent cinema, where the film premiered for an audience of critics and cinephiles.
"We are proud to have supported such a visionary project. "La Notte Diurna" perfectly embodies Chromakia's mission: to enhance authorial stories through an innovative cinematic language" - commented the production team.
Blow-Up Festival: a showcase for cinema that dares
Organized as a tribute to Michelangelo Antonioni's cult "Blow-Up," the festival is dedicated to works outside the box, where technique and poetics come together. An ideal stage for Chromakia, which has always been committed to supporting emerging talents and courageous projects.
